The weather has changed again and the Baltic Sea has changed from its usual greenish grey to a brown tone, meaning there’s a lot of sand and dirt from the sea floor being swirled around. This also had swept a swarm of jellyfish on the beach this morning. Only small ones at this time of the year of course, no bigger than a coffee cup. I had actually planned to participate in an excursion to the island of Rügen, but my usual luck has me completely shot down with a cold. Aside from sleeping, watching TV and short walks on the beach there’s not much to do. They put up a Christmas tree in the back yard and while that’s not that unusal, the location is. They have this Y-shaped bridge/ boardwalk in the garden instead of just having filled up the mound….
